Make your own custom sandals with me this Spring.

We’ll explore every step of the sandal-making process, starting off by customizing trusted patterns to suit your own feet and design preferences. Then we’ll cut and assemble the leather pieces, paying close attention to fit. It’ll be up to you whether you would like a leather sole with stacked leather heel, or to attach to a cushiony rubber sole that will pick up the curves of your sole within a few weeks.

I will have a large selection of leathers to choose from: natural, dark, and many many colors! This class is hard work: be prepared to use utility knives, adhesive, hammers, wooden mallets, shoe anvils, and to get barefoot!
